Grinderman are Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos. On September 14th they will release their new studio album Grinderman 2 via Anti-Records and follow with a tour of North America beginning on November 11th.

Celebrating three decades of influential, thought provoking and groundbreaking punk rock, Bad Religion will release their fifteenth studio album, The Dissent of Man, on September 28. The album's first single “The Devil in Stitches” made its debut on the world famous KROQ 106.7 in Los Angeles on Tuesday and can be heard now on MySpace. Fans can preorder The Dissent of Man now at the Bad Religion Store. Additionally, Bad Religion will kick off a North American tour in October with support from Bouncing Souls and Off With Their Heads.
Los Angeles is becoming X Games heaven as of today. Over 200 of the best action sports athletes in the world will take over ramps, rails, dirt, park and street courses until Sunday, August 1. X Games 16 took over Los Angeles this past weekend and it was insane. Big shout to Vans team rider Pedro Barros taking top honors in Skate Park and Christian Hosoi taking home Gold in Skate Park Legends. Also making great showings were Steve Caballero, Rob Lorifice and Gary Young. Congrats to all of the Vans riders at X Games this weekend!
Straight outta Orange County, Vans would like to welcome Dakota Roche to the BMX Team for 2010. The Huntington Beach native will join a host of BMX icons, legends and all around bad-asses in representing the original waffle sole squad of two-wheeled bicycle hellions. Dakota will join Ty Morrow and Sean Sexton in the BMX Street contest this week at X Games in LA, so be on the look-out for some massive hanger 180s to go down.

Vans and Stussy Girls kicked off the release of the Bailie shoe collab with a one-night only club in West L.A. dubbed the Suffragette Lounge featuring a first look at the project hitting better women's footwear boutiques and Stussy stores in July. Several hundred enjoyed a Tuesday night out in the 30s-themed lounge and out on the rooftop deck under a cool Los Angeles sky while surprise guest DJ Harvey capped off the atmosphere with chill grooves all night long. Guests enjoyed custom drinks from Belvedere and wines from Firestone Winery while sampling sweet treats served by a depression-era cigar girl in full uniform. Both Vans Skateparks were packed on Go Skateboarding Day this year. Everyone had a great time with free skating, tons of free product tosses and a $200 high ollie contest. Dominique “TK” Sanders took the 32″ high ollie at The Block and Andrew Aliliran took the 36″ high ollie in Orlando. Check out the photos below and make sure to get out and skate this summer.
