Skaters came from all over Texas for a chance to compete in the finals at Element YMCA Skate camp on June 20th. The energy in the park was high and the competition was fierce, but in the end it was Taylor Bray from Dallas, TX who took home the top prize and earned a spot in the finals.

On March 27th, the sixth stop of the Make It Count Contest Series went down at the historical Skate Park of Tampa. Element team riders Chad Tim Tim, Darrell Stanton, Levi Brown and Nick Garcia were on hand to judge the event. Kids from all over Florida came to compete for a spot in the finals at Element YMCA skate camp on June 20th. Clint Beswick took the top seat as our overall winner of the day and will be at the finals this summer along with the other winners from each location. A special thanks to SPoT for their support and energy making this a great event!

Congrats to Taylor Bray of Dallas, TX who took first place in the 2010 Element “MAKE IT COUNT” International Contest Series! The skating was at an all time high, along with the camaraderie and every competitors encouragement for one another; making it an event like no other, in a setting like no other. 2nd place went to Jason Singler, and a tie for 3rd went to Gage Smith and Bradley Elias. Defending champ Vincent Luevanos killed it as well, and was announced continued part of the team.

The Element International Contest Series continued with a stop in Los Angeles, CA at the P-Rod skate plaza. Chad Tim Tim, Jeremy Wray,
Ray Barbee and others crowned Stevie Perez the overall winner of the day. The vibe was amazing, and the level of skating was incredible.

The Element International Contest Series continued with a stop in West Chester, PA. Muska kept it hyped up and crowned Scotty McDade overall winner of the day. So many skaters were ripping with great attitudes to match. Thanks to Fairman’s skate shop, Muska, Billy Rohan and everyone that came out.

The first contest in the Make it Count International series went down in Phoenix, AZ January 9th. Skaters competed for a trip to Element YMCA Skate Camp and a shot at Element sponsorship. Element Team riders Levi Brown, Chad Tim Tim, Darrell Stanton, Nick Garcia and Ben Fisher were on hand to judge the event. Winners inlcuded Dashawn Jordan, Adam Arunski, Joey Downton, James Schwartz and Gregory Dwyer.
